Steffan Rees Edwards is an account manager at Newsdirect Wales primarily responsible for the health and social care portfolio. Steffan has monitored and researched key health related issues in Wales including the escalation of Betsi Cadwaladr Health Board into special measures and progress against the cancer waiting time target. He has completed bespoke research for clients including on human rights.

Before joining Newsdirect, Steffan studied Politics with Economics at the University of Bath and undertook a postgraduate degree in Welsh Government and Politics at Cardiff University. Steffan has volunteered in the third sector, at a local foodbank, and at the Senedd. In his spare time, Steffan enjoys listening to music and cooking, and is also a long-suffering Newport County football fan.
