Olivia joined the Newsdirect team as a news and committee reporter in June 2022 and but moved across to Account Management in October 2022. Her client portfolio covers housing, homelessness and social security and their relevant committees. More recently, Olivia has been in charge of organising conference coverage and is in charge of collating contact details and biographies for MSPs.

She studied Politics at the University of Glasgow and completed a virtual semester at the University of Copenhagen. Having previously volunteered for the Simon Community, her interests range from domestic public policy to global development.

In her spare time, Olivia enjoys eating baked goods and being by the seaside. She recently went on a foraging course and has become obsessed with finding wild garlic.
