Rory joined Newsdirect in May 2022 and is the account lead for the transport and tourism portfolio, as well as the editor of the Enterprise and Connectivity Today daily bulletin.

Prior to Newsdirect, Rory completed a master’s in Human Rights and International Politics at the University of Glasgow, where he also received his undergraduate degree in History and Politics. During his final year as an undergraduate, Rory worked as a John Smith Centre intern for Humza Yousaf, which helped spark a keen interest in Scottish politics.

Outside of work, Rory enjoys attending football matches, going to the cinema and listening to the same handful of music playlists on repeat.
