Ian Woodbyrne is a deputy head of monitoring and Newsdirect Scotland’s health and social care lead. Ian manages a portfolio of public health clients, spanning health boards, charities, and industry specialists. Prior to joining Newsdirect, Ian worked with the policy and public affairs team at the British Heart Foundation Scotland and as a researcher for the David Hume Institute. He has degree in Politics from the University of Glasgow which involved a semester Erasmus exchange at Stockholm University. Ian’s a big fan of Harry Styles (music rather than acting) and football. He also enjoys putting together tailored quizzes for the team based on Richard Osman’s House of Games.
