Lewis Gillingwater is the Chief Reporter at Newsdirect Scotland. He is the editor of our Parliament Today daily bulletin service, leads the Reporter Team and covers ongoing Westminster and Holyrood developments.

Lewis has a degree in Politics and German from the University of Dundee and a postgraduate degree in Political Communications from the University of Glasgow. Prior to joining Newsdirect, he worked for the Scottish Social Services Council and in marketing and political research.

Outside of work, Lewis spends his time fighting a never-ending battle to get through his list of books to be read, movies to be seen and podcasts to be listened to.
