Evie Milligan joined Newsdirect as a parliamentary reporter in August 2023 and now leads our daily Westminster scan across committee and chamber proceedings. In this role she works closely with Newsdirect’s account managers, ensuring that our coverage across reserved and devolved issues is joined-up and comprehensive.  

Evie graduated from the University of Stirling in June 2023 with a degree in Politics and completed an exchange semester at the University of Gothenburg. She studied both domestic and international politics and has a particular interest in comparative politics.

Outside of her job and interest in politics, Evie enjoys exploring new cafes and taste testing oat milk cappuccinos. She plays competitive netball and has a 12-year-old chocolate Labrador called Rab.
