Max McKeown is an account manager at Newsdirect Wales covering a wide portfolio including climate change and rural affairs, Welsh law and justice, and the economy. He has been responsible for coverage of the development of major pieces of policy and legislation including the Agriculture (Wales) Act and the Sustainable Farming Scheme. He has researched and produced bespoke policy briefings in a range of areas including on the UK Internal Market Act, the delivery of justice in Wales and the work of the Independent Commission on the Constitutional Future of Wales.
Prior to joining Newsdirect in 2022, Max studied Politics and Philosophy at Cardiff University. Aside from politics, Max is fond of playing chess (to limited success) and spends much of his time reading and editing increasingly obscure Wikipedia pages (to great success).
We disrupted the political monitoring market in 2000 and, though we're bigger and bolder now, we've maintained a person-centred process throughout.
