Stan Senior’s portfolio as an account manager at Newsdirect Wales includes responsibility for culture, housing, social justice, and the Welsh language. He has led coverage on the introduction of the Welsh Government’s white paper to end homelessness, the impact of funding cuts to Wales’s cultural bodies and developments of Wales’s status as a nation of sanctuary. A fluent Welsh speaker, Stan has also tracked the trajectory of the Welsh Government’s Cymraeg 2050 targets, as well as producing bilingual reports for clients.
Stan has gained an undergraduate degree in History and a Masters’ degree in Welsh Government and Politics, both at Cardiff University. Outside of politics, Stan can be found on the cricket field or at his part-time role as a Team Leader at Cardiff Students’ Union. He is currently in training for the 2024 Cardiff Half Marathon and has been trying to learn Spanish for multiple years.
We disrupted the devolved political monitoring market in 2000 and joined DeHavilland in 2025. Though we're bigger and bolder now, we've maintained a person-centred process throughout.
