Adam Rocca oversees policy matters relating to children, young people and education at Newsdirect Wales, which has seen him cover topics relating to education reform, teaching, children’s rights, research, and training. Adam has presided over the reaction to the 2022 PISA results and the scrutiny of the Residential Outdoor Education (Wales) Bill. He has produced bespoke research briefings on child safeguarding and additional learning needs reforms.
Prior to his time at Newsdirect, Adam studied Politics and Modern History at Cardiff University, before receiving his Master’s in Comparative Politics from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Following this, he gained electoral experience, working alongside local politicians as an election and counting agent during the Gibraltar 2023 General Election. Outside of work he can be found brushing up on his native Llanito language or complaining that Max Verstappen has won yet another Grand Prix.
We disrupted the political monitoring market in 2000 and, though we're bigger and bolder now, we've maintained a person-centred process throughout.
