Eloise Richmond joined Newsdirect as a Parliamentary Reporter in 2022, leading the daily Westminster scan across committee and chamber proceedings. She has since moved over to the Account Manager team and is the monitoring lead for the education and skills portfolio.

Prior to starting at Newsdirect, Eloise studied Politics & Social and Public Policy at the University of Glasgow. She has a keen interest in the policymaking process and her final year dissertation examined the key actors within this process, looking specifically at the role of teachers during the implementation of education policy.

Outside of her job and interest in politics, Eloise watches an obscene number of murder documentaries and is very rarely without a cup of tea! She also enjoys going out for good food and for a boogie with her friends.
