AMs approved changes to the Assembly’s committee memberships today.
- Elect Jack Sargeant as a member of the Petitions Committee, replacing Mike Hedges
- Elect Carwyn Jones as a member of the Culture, Welsh Language and Communications Committee, replacing Jayne Bryant
- Elect John Griffiths as a member of the Culture, Welsh Language and Communications Committee, replacing Vikki Howells
- Elect Dawn Bowden as a member of the Equality, Local Government and Communities Committee, replacing Carwyn Jones
- Elect Mohammad Asghar as a member of the Economy, Infrastructure and Skills Committee
- Elect Michelle Brown as a member of the Petitions Committee
- Elect Neil Hamilton as a member of the Climate Change, Environment and Rural Affairs Committee
- Elect Gareth Bennett as a member of the Public Accounts Committee
- Remove Joyce Watson as a member of the External Affairs and Additional Legislation Committee
- Remove Jack Sargeant as a member of the Children, Young People and Education Committee
- Remove John Griffiths as a member of the Climate Change, Environment and Rural Affairs Committee
- Remove Rhianon Passmore as a member of the Culture, Welsh Language and Communications Committee

We understand the health and education committees are not expecting replacements for Dawn Bowden and Jack Sargeant and this is part of wider move to reduce the size of policy and legislation committees from eight members to six.
