With all the uncertainty surrounding Westminster politics, Brexit and a possible general election, it’s easy to forget that in ‘normal’ times, we’d be bringing our focus to Scottish manifesto development, ahead of the 2021 elections.  Instead we have several parties engaged in parallel candidate selection: rushing to get a roster of MP candidates approved while ensuring that the Holyrood process doesn’t slip.  Together with some high-profile individuals casting an eye over winnable seats, the landscape is complex and constantly moving.
